Free for teachers
Free for teachers. It stays that way
Our mission is to make learning better for everyone. As long as a teacher is teaching, the platform is free to them — all of it.

What “free” means here
This is the whole platform. There is no cut-down free version with a better one underneath it.
What you make for your class
- An interactive lesson your students play, marked as they go
- An exam in the real national format, printed to A4
- A full presentation for the period
- An illustrated story for young readers
- Worksheets, quizzes and assignments
- Interactive figures across maths, physics and chemistry
What you plan before the lesson
- A lesson plan for a single period
- A weekly plan on one page
- A unit plan, first period to final assessment
- The curriculum spread over the weeks the term actually has
- Learning objectives you can measure
What you find out afterwards
- Automatic marking on closed questions
- A class heatmap, and the misconceptions behind it
- A report for each student on their own
And across all of it
- Arabic and English in everything it makes
- Pages printed right to left, the way they are read
- No trial period and no countdown
- No credit card at signup
How the arithmetic works
It is a fair question: somebody has to pay for this. Here is the answer in four steps.
- 1
The teacher pays nothing
The whole platform, no subscription and no card. What others charge a monthly fee for, we give away.
- 2
Some teachers publish what they built
Publishing is a decision you make lesson by lesson. It is the reason the tier is free, not a condition of it: keep everything to yourself and you lose nothing.
- 3
The shared library grows
The next teacher starts from a lesson another teacher built, not from a blank page. That is how the product gains value without a teacher paying for it.
- 4
Schools pay for administrative access
A school buys seeing its whole staff in one place. That is the revenue, and it pays for the platform every teacher uses for free.
So who actually pays
Schools, and only schools. A school pays for administrative access — seeing the whole staff in one place. The teacher pays nothing either way, whether their school subscribes or not. Not one teacher feature sits behind that line, and we will not move an existing one behind it.
What we will never do with your class
The free tier is funded by school subscriptions, not by student data. These are the limits, written down.
We never sell student data
Not to data brokers, not to marketing companies, not to anyone who buys lists.
No ads on any screen
No advertiser buys your students' attention, because there is no ad space to sell.
No training on student work
What a student writes inside String is not used to train our models.
We never publish your work for you
Every lesson stays private until you choose to publish it, and nothing in your account changes if you never publish one.
If the company's plans change
No company can promise it will never change, and we are not going to make that promise. What we will commit to is narrower and clearer: what is free for a teacher today stays free for that teacher. If we ever build something new that carries a price, it will be new — we will not take a tool you already use and sell it back to you. That is the difference between changing our plans and changing the deal.

String — Interactive Lessons
You describe the lesson. Your student plays it
Not a sheet to print and not a video to watch. It is an activity your student walks through one screen at a time, and every answer is marked the moment it is given.
Exams
A paper in the real national-exam format, ready to print
Questions, figures, header and marks — on A4 exactly as your student will see them.
