What happens when you ask for String at your child's school
The school's name and your email are enough for us to start. These are the steps we take next.
What happens now
- We find the school and make sure it is the right one.
- We approach its administration and show them String.
- We tell you where it got to either way, including if the answer is no.
This can take weeks. Schools decide in their own time, and we do not push them.
The fastest thing you can do: two other parents
One request is a name in our inbox. Four from the same school is a reason for its office to reply. Send this page to two parents at that same school, and ask them to name it the way you did.
I asked String to approach our school — an app where a child learns from their own curriculum, and every evening I get what they are missing and where to start with them. If the school subscribes, it adds its whole school day too. The more parents from one school ask, the likelier its office is to reply. Put the school's name in here:
