The hard questions, answered straight

From the play itself. In every attempt there is a signal: the answer, its timing, the hesitation before it. The algorithms read that trace, not the child. There is no separate test, and no question is put to your child.

We read the session's trace: how long it ran, where they got it right, where they hesitated. No camera, no test, and no question about their feelings.

We describe the session itself: whether they started quickly, whether they finished it, whether their focus broke up, and when they stopped. A description of a day's play, not a psychological measurement. That is why it is read across a week, and never compared with anyone.

Twenty to thirty minutes. We don't reward long sittings, and playing longer gives them nothing.

We announce no rank. A rank tells you who came first; we tell you what is missing, skill by skill. And if their school is on String, there is an optional comparison with the class average inside “Learn more” — and your child does not see it.

All grades. Each grade has its own curriculum and its own games, so what your child plays is what they are studying this year.

No. One device at home is enough — your child plays on it, and you read in the evening.

You. And if their school is on String, the school sees what it created itself. We do not sell the data, we do not hand it to advertisers, and we do not train our software on it. What we collect, and why, is written on the privacy page.

In Arabic from beginning to end, not a half-finished translation. In English too, and you choose each child's language separately.

The app itself is free however many children you have. The optional premium comes two ways: the family plan is one monthly subscription for any number of children, and Premium is one per child. Neither price is published yet.

No. Grades are the assessment, and they come from the school. The daily read describes one day, and one day is not a result.

No. You ask the teacher a specific question instead of a general one, and the conversation is worth more to both of you.

You go back to the free version, which is free forever. Ask us to delete your account and we do, and we will not ask why.

No. The games, the daily read, the evening card, progress, the fingerprint and the report all work from home. A school adds its own school day, and nothing else.
